images that matter | by emily walker

We recently asked our couples to share their thoughts about images that matter to them most from their wedding day.

Thank you Emily!

Emily: Taking communion, it’s for us, remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross and the implication of His work, enabling us to love. “we love, because He first loved us.” 1 john 4:19

Huy: Immediately after the wedding ceremony, E+A were taken quickly to a smaller chapel.  I followed them because I thought they might appreciate having some photographs of this brief event.  And since we were not in the main chapel anymore, I was allowed to be up close to make images that clearly show their faces and emotions.

Emily: My dad hasn’t been feeling like himself for the past few years, and it’s been hard to watch. But he felt the best he’s felt in years on the day of our wedding and you photographed my dad – the one that I’ve always known, but had been missing. What more could I ask for?

Huy: Emily’s father was incredibly happy and involved on the wedding day.  It was great to see a family really enjoying the special day together.   I was also glad to be able to be at their family home while Emily was getting ready.  I love family moments.

Emily: epic wedding photo. enough side. end of story, thanks for playing.

Huy: We were supposed to be prepping to be introduced at the reception but we sneaked in a few extra shots.  Who could resist a hill, sunset, and a fun bride and groom?
